Your delivery apps now cost extra.

Ordeal puts a wall in front of your food delivery apps. Walk away and the money's banked. Get in and it goes on your tab. Your move, 11pm you.

KNOW YOUR NUMBER

Your damage has paperwork now.

Answer a few questions — gut guess, don't check the app, first number that hurts. Ordeal prints your yearly delivery damage as a receipt.

The number has a stamp on it now. It's official.

HOW IT WORKS

Now the part where we stop you.

The wall is really great. Each time I opened up an app like Uber eats out of habit, there it was reminding me what was at stake. Great way to form a new habit.

01

PICK YOUR APPS

You choose what gets walled off. Apple's Screen Time does the blocking, on your phone.

02

HIT THE WALL

Next time you reach for delivery, the wall is standing there with your number on it.

03

WALK AWAY OR PAY

Walking away banks the money toward your goal. Getting in is always allowed. It just goes on your tab.

WHERE THE MONEY GOES

Give the money somewhere better to be.

Every walk-away banks the amount toward your goal. The money never leaves your account — Ordeal tracks it, never holds it. The delivery app gets nothing. That Europe trip gets a little closer.

I knew I spent too much on food delivery but I didn't realize how bad it was. This helped me put money away for a trip I've been wanting to take.

THE PAPER TRAIL

Every result prints a receipt.

Skip an order, clear your tab, hit a milestone, fund the goal — Ordeal files each one as a receipt built to be posted.

There's a code on every reveal. Send it to whoever swears they're worse. Loser buys. You split the check.

FROM THE DESK OF

Built by someone who needed the wall.

Ordeal wasn't built by a wellness brand with a meditation app and opinions about your morning routine. It was built by someone who kept ordering $19 bagels at midnight and wanted a wall, not a lecture.

No streak-shaming. No "you've got this." No therapy voice. Just your number, a wall, and a bank that fills up a little every time you walk away.

THE ASTERISKS

Everything you'd ask at the counter.

Can't I just delete it?

Sure. You can also revoke Screen Time in Settings in under a minute — Ordeal is a commitment you set when you were calm, not a cage. It just turns out most people don't uninstall the thing quietly funding their trip to Europe.

Can't I just pay my way in?

Yes, and you're supposed to be able to. Getting in is always allowed — that's the design, not the loophole. The charge lands on your tab in plain sight, owed to your goal. A wall you can never open is a wall you delete by week two.

Do you touch my money?

No. It never leaves your account — Ordeal doesn't hold it, move it, or ask for your bank login. "Banked" means we keep score; you keep the money. The only thing that moves is the number.

Is any of this private?

Your record lives on your phone, with a backup in your own iCloud that we can't read. Apple's Screen Time never tells us which apps you blocked or opened. We do collect anonymous, un-linked usage and crash data so the app keeps working — that's the honest version, and it's the whole version.

Is it free?

No. It's a paid app — no ads, nothing sold, no free trial. But a full year costs less than a month of your delivery habit — it pays for itself the first few nights you walk away.

iPhone only?

For now — the wall is built on Apple's Screen Time. Android's on the list, and we're building toward it. When it ships, you'll hear about it.

ANDROID?

Application pending.

LAST CALL

Put a wall between you and 11pm.

A year costs less than a month of your delivery habit — possibly the only app whose entire job is to make you spend less.
